This is a collectible, surplus Civil Defense Gamma Radiation Detector Model CDV-715.

Protect yourself from Bruce Banner's fate when the gamma ray exposure turned him into the Hulk! (ok were not sure if it will do that but these retro collectibles are way cool)

Case apears to be very rugged and may be water proof (may need the seals updated).

Detect Gamma radiation and impress your friends! (of course if you find some they may run away)

The couple we played with appear to work OK, but correct function is not guaranteed and not all of the units are tested.
