This is a "Robotikits" Angelic Butterfly, Aluminum kit, an Intermediate Experience Series kit.
This kit does not build into a moving robot, but is a kit to build a cool looking butterfly for display only.
It is recommended for ages 10 and up.

Almost lifelike, OWI’s aluminum insect building kit features a butterfly that you assemble from metal and bendable aluminum parts.  Butterflies are interesting because of their unusual life cycle. The cycle starts with its larval caterpillar stage. It proceeds to its inactive pupal stage, and then transforms into its most recognizable adult form to a multi-colored winged flying insect.  OWI’s Angelic Butterfly has diverse patterns of its own. Its beautiful metallic color has graced the attention of many butterfly watchers. Instead of watching, you get to build this masterpiece. It includes 22 hard and soft pre-punched aluminum parts, 4 screws, 4 nuts, and 4 springs with assembly tools included in the kit. Angelic Butterfly’s wings and legs are moveable for your creative pleasure.
